My pursuit of happiness was easy. Too easy. I was living my dream by 19 because I rejected the things that keep people unhappy. I walked away from that dream to help Americans in their pursuit of happiness. I consider it my occupation and have stayed committed to doing it on my own terms. But given how it began as a preoccupation, sometimes I wonder if I ever really had any choice in the matter.
Since making that switch two decades ago it feels like America has been super committed to becoming as ridiculous as possible. This meant that in addition to refining the Civil Network blueprint, I also had to continuously reconcile it with an increasingly volatile cultural climate.
The experience has left me with a perspective that is definitely outside the box. In an era when speaking up publicly about literally anything will result in being vilified, there's a strange futility in promoting any form of cooperation to the general public.
But because the mechanics of the Civil Network are predicated on providing Americans with an appropriate platform to register, prioritize and track their grievances, it became obvious that the only way to lower the temperature and redirect frustration while keeping my integrity intact was to use myself as rage-bait to draw the heat.
Ok, here's the deal; if anonymity were an option, I'd take it. You either landed here looking for EJ Moonshot, or you want to know who is behind Project 2029. Either way, this page is a little bit of obligatory insight into who I am and why I do what I do. You don't have to read it. You're more than welcome to just BlameThisDude.com.
For real, Project 2029 isn't about me. It's about you. That's why I buried this page three layers deep. But if you're really curious, knock yourself out...
I'm dead serious about solving America's biggest problem so that we can unlock the rest from increasingly volatile partisanship.
That doesn't mean we can't have fun while we're doing it.
It means we HAVE to.
Though I'm sincere in the effort, I'm no saint. A big part of me is really f****** fed up with watching the most powerful men in the world play the victim while turning good, honest citizens against each other.
It's obnoxious raising my son in a time when the idea of what it means to be a man is being torn to shreds. In my house we show gratitude, take responsibility, protect the vulnerable, stand up to bullies, and love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Even though a lot of you kinda sketch me out at this very moment. It's fine, though. We'll get through.
And after dedicating my life to figuring out a better way for human beings to work together, I know damn well this is the best (and only viable) option on the table for citizens who are tired of getting played. So, yeah, if that bit of candor isn't reason enough to put me on blast, I'm cordially inviting every American, especially the aforementioned "leadership", to
Blame This Dude.
If you came here looking for info on my other products, they're either on autopilot for now or being sacrificed to the dumpster fire, because this is the only one that has ever mattered.
It was never about money or business. It's about how we work together. I framed Project 2029 through business and money because that IS how we work together. The Civil Network is how we can do it a whole lot better.
I only started a business to learn how to bring my ideas to life and buy my time. A few original products have paid the bills, given me the freedom to be with my family and work to bring you the Civil Network.
2017 - Main Street Originals - My first product to market was in service to the Civil Network. Even when I couldn't quite explain yet.
Blame is the easiest thing in the world. As far as Project 2029 goes, the next easiest thing would be to assume the worst about me, whatever that might mean to you.
There is, however, ABSOLUTELY ZERO chance that'd you'd ever guess what sparked this preoccupation in the first place.
If you really want to know who I am, where I'm from, and why I do what I do, here's a short film from July 4th, 2022, that tells part of the story. But, again, this has never been about me. It's about YOU.
